The Australasian Catholic Record seeks to be a forum for the discussion of contemporary issues facing the Church, particularly in Australasia, and to be an outlet for current local scholarship. It has a special interest in Australian Church history, but also publishes across a range of disciplines in religion and theology.  Each issue includes reflections on the readings for the Sundays and Feasts in the following three months. Book Reviews are also a regular feature of each issue, with a focus on local authors and publishers.  Articles submitted for publication are refereed and a decision is made by the Editorial Board, which meets twice each year.
